I have returned to the gym since the classes started up again, I am happy with the distancing and cleanliness however the standards of the classes are poor, normally they are run by independent trainers but in the move to save money they are run by existing staff. The lessons are good when its not Ramadam or Eid because if they don't have enough members for the class it gets cancelled which I feel it is unfair to the people who are not muslim . TruGym in maidstone closed, without notification , just came in to gym like any other day to be greeted with this lovely message on the door.. "Maidstone is closing from 18th may 2022, we appreciate all the support members have given however the club has been forced to close for all queries regarding membership please email maidstoneATtrugym.co.uk" They have taken my direct debit the next day .. and im absolutely sure i will not get that money back.. absolute audacity ! However, Truym's parent company, Harlands continued to take monthly membership from my account for 6 months at a total cost of 175 approx. Absolutely horrified with this gym had been warned by friends should have listened taken 180 pound out my bank in two days with no apologies they taken my money early puttting me in my overdraft refunded it then quadruple charged the next morning this place had is no idea what they are doing the staff clearly havent got a clue and just rude still not sorted my money out been told I have to wait till Monday as the feels on desk said he cant do anything.
